ارزیابی تأثیر افزودنی‌های اسلک‌وکس و پلی‌پروپیلن‌وکس بر خصوصیات شیارشدگی قیر اصلاح شده با پودر لاستیک

چکیده

استفاده از پودر لاستیک به منظور اصلاح خواص عملکردی قیر، همواره مورد توجه محققین بوده است. نتایج نشان داده است که استفاده از پودر لاستیک در مخلوط‌های آسفالتی منجر به بهبود عملکرد و افزایش دوام روسازی می‌گردد. با این وجود، افزایش ویسکوزیته قیر اصلاح شده با پودر لاستیک که منجر به افزایش دمای اختلاط و تراکم مخلوط آسفالتی می‌گردد، به عنوان یکی از معایب کاربرد پودر لاستیک شناخته می‌شود. بنابراین، زمینه مناسبی برای استفاده از افزودنی‌های نیمه‌گرم وجود دارد تا علاوه بر بهبود عملکرد مخلوط آسفالتی، رویکرد کاهش مصرف انرژی و تولید آلودگی‌های زیست‌محیطی نیز مورد توجه قرار گیرد. از طرف دیگر قیر نقش مهمی در تعیین عملکرد مخلوط‌های آسفالتی دارد. همچنین بررسی خصوصیات مخلوط‌های آسفالتی زمان‌بر و پرهزینه می‌باشد. بنابراین ارزیابی خصوصیات عملکردی قیرها کمک زیادی به شناخت عملکرد مخلوط‌های آسفالتی در برابر انواع خرابی‌ها می‌کند. هدف اصلی در این پژوهش، بررسی تأثیر افزودنی‌های نیمه‌گرم آلی (واکس‌ها) بر عملکرد شیارشدگی قیر اصلاح شده با پودر لاستیک با استفاده از آزمایش تنش خزشی چندگانه برگشت‌پذیر می‌باشد. آزمایش تنش خزشی چندگانه برگشت‌پذیر روش جدیدی به منظور ارزیابی عملکرد شیارشدگی قیرها در چند سطح تنش می‌باشد که پارامترهای حاصل از آن در مقایسه با معیارهای شارپ همبستگی بهتری با نتایج آزمایش‌های شیارشدگی مخلوط آسفالتی دارند. نتایج بدست آمده از این پژوهش نشان می‌دهند که استفاده از پلی‌پروپیلن‌وکس در هر دو سطح تنش 100 و 3200 پاسکال، مقاومت شیارشدگی قیر لاستیکی را افزایش می‌دهد؛ در حالی‌که اسلک‌وکس با افزایش مقدار پارامتر کرنش تجمعی غیرقابل برگشت قیر، منجر به کاهش مقاومت شیارشدگی قیر لاستیکی می‌گردد.

The use of crumb rubber to modify the binders has been the interest of researchers for many years. It has been proven that the use of asphalt mixtures containing crumb rubber is leading to improve performance and increase durability of asphalt pavement. However, increasing the viscosity of crumb rubber modified (CRM) binder which increases mixing and compaction temperature of asphalt mixture, is known as one of the disadvantages of using crumb rubber. So, there is a good concept for using warm mix additives to besides improving the performance of asphalt mixture, reduce energy consumption and environmental pollution also be considered. On the other hand, the binder has an important role in the investigation of the performance of the asphalt mixture. It is also time-consuming and costly to evaluate the properties of asphalt mixtures. Hence, evaluating the performance characteristics of the binder helps in understanding the performance of asphalt mixtures against various types of damage. The main objective of this study is to investigate the effect of organic warm mix additives (waxes) on the rutting performance of CRM binders by using the multiple creep stress recovery (MSCR) test. It was found that the MSCR test results have a good correlation to rutting than SHRP criteria. The results of this study showed that the use of polypropylene wax in addition to increasing rutting resistance of CRM binder also will lead to an increase in pavement traffic level by one degree. Despite this, slack wax reduced the rutting resistance of the CRM binder by increasing the Jnr parameter.
