Also, Back-to-Back Mechanically Stabilized earth walls (BBMSEW) is one of the types of so-called "mechanically stabilized earth walls with complex geometry", whereas their usages, has been less the subject of researches. So far, no special research has been done to investigate and analyze the behavior of anchored back-to-back retaining walls with anchor plates under the load of shallow foundations and the behavior and interaction of two walls with each other and the interaction of sliding surfaces of two walls and sliding surfaces of shear failure of subsurface soil. Since the effect of the interaction of two back-to-back walls with each other and the loading plate(shallow foundation model) with two walls due to the interference of their failure surfaces, strongly affects the foundation bearing capacity and stability of walls, so in this article by physical modeling, The effect of horizontal distance between two walls, dimensions of loading plate (shallow foundation model) on stability,  foundation bearing capacity, yield stress, soil failure model under foundations and behind the walls have been investigated and analyzed. In order to survey the shape, form and how the slip failure curves of the embankment behind the walls intersect, the Particles Image Velocimetry (PIV) technique has been used. The results show that the effective distance between the two back-to-back retaining walls anchored by anchor plates is about 2.5 times of their height. Also, the dimensions of the loading plate will affect the bearing capacity and the interference of the shear failure surfaces of the soil under the foundation and the slip failure surfaces of the walls. The results showed the effective breadth of the loading-plate is about equal to walls height. Finally, back-to-back anchored by anchor plates retaining walls in widths longer than 2.5 times of their height or shallow foundation greater wider than their height can be designed and analyzed individually.}, keywords = {Experimental evaluation,Back-to-Back retaining walls,Interaction of retaining walls and shallow foundation,shallow foundation,Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV)}, title_fa = {ارزیابی آزمایشگاهی رفتار دیوارهای حائل پشت به پشت مهار شده به وسیله مهارهای صفحه‌ای}, abstract_fa = {اجرای دیوارهای حائل مهار شده با مهارهای صفحه‌ای یکی از متداول‌ترین روش‌های پایدارسازی خاکریزهاست. دیوارهای پشت به پشت خاک مسلح (BBMSEW) یکی از انواع دیوارهای خاک مسلح اصطلاحا" با هندسه پیچیده هستند که با توجه به کاربردشان کمتر مورد مطالعات تحقیقاتی قرار گرفته‌اند و تاکنون مطالعات جامعی در خصوص بررسی و تحلیل رفتار دیوارهای حائل پشت به پشت مهار شده با مهارهای صفحه‌ای تحت بار پی‌های سطحی و همچنین رفتار و اندرکنش دو دیوار با یکدیگر و تداخل اثر سطوح لغزشی دو دیوار و سطوح برشی خاک زیر پی سطحی صورت نگرفته است. از آنجا که اثر اندرکنش سطوح لغزشی خاک پشت دو دیوار پشت به پشت با یکدیگر و سطوح گسیختگی برشی خاک زیر پی سطحی به میزان زیاد بر ظرفیت باربری پی، پایداری و تغییر شکل دیوارهای مجاور اثرگذار است، لذا در این مقاله به وسیله مدل‌سازی فیزیکی اثر فاصله افقی دو دیوار و ابعاد صفحه بارگذاری (مدل پی سطحی) بر پایداری، ظرفیت باربری‌ و مکانیزم گسیختگی خاک زیر صفحه بارگذاری و دیوارها مورد بررسی و تحلیل قرار گرفته‌اند. به ‌منظور مشاهده شکل، فرم و چگونگی تداخل منحنی‌های گسیختگی خاکریز پشت دیوارها از تکنیک سرعت سنجی تصویری ذرات (PIV) استفاده شده است. نتایج نشان می‌دهند که فاصله حدی اثرگذاری دو دیوار حائل پشت به پشت مهار شده با مهارهای صفحه‌ای برهم حدود 2/5 برابر ارتفاع دیوارهاست. همچنین ابعاد صفحه بارگذاری بر ظرفیت باربری و تداخل سطوح گسیختگی برشی خاک زیر صفحه بارگذاری و سطوح گسیختگی لغزشی دیوارها اثرگذار خواهد بود که نتایج نشان دهنده عرض موثر صفحه بارگذاری برابر با ارتفاع دیوارها هستند. در نتیجه در فواصل بزرگ‌تر از 2/5 برابر ارتفاع دیوارها یا پی سطحی با عرض بزرگ‌تر از ارتفاع دیوارها، دیوارها می‌توانند بدون در نظر گرفتن اثر اندرکنش، جداگانه طراحی و تحلیل گردند.}, keywords_fa = {Experimental evaluation,Back-to-Back retaining walls,Interaction of retaining walls and shallow foundation,shallow foundation,Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV)}, url = {https://ceej.aut.ac.ir/article_4624.html}, eprint = {https://ceej.aut.ac.ir/article_4624_0ec518d6604f3ae24e8b3128a110c851.pdf} }
