The upstream cutoff wall is used for the reduction of the uplift force and the downstream cutoff wall is used for the reduction of the exit hydraulic gradient. This study tends to numerically investigate the double-cutoff beneath the hydraulic structures with variation in their location, distance and depth. Governing equations with boundary conditions are solved using the finite element method (FEM). Results showed that if the downstream cutoff wall is deeper than the upstream cutoff wall, the resultant uplift force would be more than the uplift force without cutoff walls. With a constant value for hydraulic structures width (B), decreasing in the distance between two cutoffs (L), results in the reduction in uplift force. Increasing in impermeable depth (D) and reduction in B, yields lower uplift force. Increasing in downstream cutoff depth (d2) and L, results in reduction in exit hydraulic gradient (GR). When the two cutoffs are located in the end of the hydraulic structure, GR is lower than that when the downstream cutoff is located in L/B=0.33 and L/B=0.66 from the upstream cutoff. Comparison between the available analytical solutions for two equal ending cutoffs with FEM, showed that FEM could predict PC and GR with a maximum 5% error.}, keywords = {Cutoff wall,Uplift force,Exit Hydraulic Gradient,hydraulic structures,finite element}, title_fa = {بررسی نشت، نیروی بالابرنده و گرادیان هیدرولیکی در زیر سازه‌های هیدرولیکی با ترکیب‌بندی مختلفی از دیوارهای آب‌بند دوگانه}, abstract_fa = {در طراحی سازه‌های هیدرولیکی از دیوارهای آب‌بند، برای کنترل نیروی بالابرنده و گرادیان هیدرولیکی خروجی استفاده می‌شود. در این تحقیق نحوه قرارگیری دیوار آب‌بند دوگانه در زیر سازه‌های هیدرولیکی از لحاظ موقعیت، فاصله و همچنین عمق کارگذاری آن‌ها به روش عددی مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. حل معادلات حاکم به همراه شرایط مرزی، به روش المان‌های محدود (FEM) انجام گرفت. نتایج نشان داد که اگر دیوار آب‌بند پایین‌دست از دیوار آب‌بند بالادست عمیق‌تر باشد، باعث افزایش برآیند نیروی بالابرنده نسبت به حالت بدون دیوار آب‌بند خواهد شد. به ازای یک عرض ثابت برای سازه، با کاهش فاصله دو دیوار آب‌بند نسبت به هم، نیروی بالابرنده (U) کاهش پیدا می‌کند. هر چه عرض سازه کمتر و یا عمق پی نفوذپذیر بیشتر باشد، نیروی بالابرنده کمتر خواهد بود. با افزایش فاصله دو دیوار آب‌بند نسبت به هم و افزایش عمق دیوار آب‌بند انتهایی، گرادیان هیدرولیکی خروجی (GR) کاهش می‌یابد. مقدار GR هنگامی‌ که دو دیوار آب‌بند در ابتدا و انتهای سازه قرار داشته باشند، نسبت به حالتی که دیوار آب‌بند انتهایی در موقعیت 0/33= L/B  و 0/66 =L/B  نسبت به دیوار آب‌بند ابتدایی باشد، کمتر خواهد شد. مقایسه نتایج حاصل از مدل عددی با نتایج ارائه شده در تحقیقات قبلی برای یک شرایط یکسان نشان داد که حداکثر خطا در مدل عددی جهت برآورد فشار آب منفذی در انتهای سازه (Pc) و گرادیان هیدرولیکی خروجی (GR) کمتر از 5% میباشد.}, keywords_fa = {دیوار آب‌بند,نیروی بالابرنده,گرادیان هیدرولیکی خروجی,سازه هیدرولیکی,المان محدود}, url = {https://ceej.aut.ac.ir/article_4488.html}, eprint = {https://ceej.aut.ac.ir/article_4488_63adddd3e32dd30fb941e4e92fa7927c.pdf} }
