Typical braced frames, in comparison with rigid frames, have higher stiffness they have low ductility. On the other hand, rigid frames have high ductility but due to their low lateral stiffness, they maintain large displacements throughout the earthquake, which is not favorable. Furthermore, in rigid frames, the beam to column connection is a critical area that often experiences damage during the earthquake. In this research, the objective is to create a lateral load-carrying system and improve the seismic performance of steel frames using the placement of arch segments cut of steel plates at the corner of simple steel frames and they are yielding. Due to the eccentricity, these components are subjected to an interaction of axial and flexural forces and like yielding dampers absorb the major part of the input energy. In this study, first, the hysteresis curve of arch segments made by ST37 steel was achieved using finite element software, ABAQUS.  Then this damper was modeled in SAP software to create the same hysteresis curve. Then, 3, 6, and 9-story bare rigid frames and simple frames with arch segments were modeled and subjected to time-history analysis of 12 different earthquakes. Based on achieved results, maximum roof displacement and maximum story drifts of frames, in simple frames with arch segments compared to bare rigid frames in average reduced 22 and 8%, respectively. Also in simple frames with arch segments on average 46% of input energy was absorbed by arch segments that indicate the relatively good performance of this system.}, keywords = {Lateral load-carrying system,arch segments,rigid frame,time-history analysis,energy dissipation}, title_fa = {مطالعه‌ی عددی مهارهای زانویی قوسی شکل برای تأمین سیستم باربر لرزه‌ای در گوشه‎های قاب ساده فولادی}, abstract_fa = {قاب‌های مهاربندی‌شده و خمشی، سیستم‌هایی هستند که برای مقابله با بارهای جانبی مورداستفاده قرار می‌گیرند. قاب‌های مهاربندی متداول در مقایسه با قاب‌های خمشی دارای سختی جانبی بالایی بوده اما شکل‌پذیری پایینی دارند. قاب‌های خمشی دارای شکل‌پذیری بالایی بوده اما به علت سختی جانبی کم به هنگام زلزله تغییرمکان‌های بزرگی از خود نشان می‌دهند که مطلوب نیست. علاوه بر این در قاب‌های خمشی ناحیه اتصال تیر به ستون، یک ناحیه بحرانی است که اغلب در هنگام اعمال بارهای جانبی دچار خرابی می‌شود. در این تحقیق با استفاده از استقرار مهارهای زانویی کمانی شکل بریده‌شده از ورق فولادی در گوشه قاب‌های ساده و تسلیم آن‌ها، با ایجاد یک سیستم باربر جانبی مناسب توسط این قطعات، بهبود عملکرد لرزهای این قاب‌های فولادی بررسی میشود. این قطعات به علت وجود خروج از مرکزیت موجود، به‌صورت اندرکنشی از نیروی محوری و لنگر خمشی تسلیم شده و مشابه یک میراگر جاری شونده، انرژی ورودی را مستهلک می‎کنند. در این مطالعه، ابتدا منحنی هیسترزیس قطعات کمانی شکل با فولاد ST37، با استفاده از نرم‌افزار اجزای محدود آباکوس به دست آمد و سپس این عضو کمانی با تطابق منحنی هیسترزیس به‌دست‌آمده، در نرم‌افزار SAP مدل‌سازی گردید. در ادامه قاب‌های خمشی 3، 6 و 9 طبقه و قاب های ساده مشابه به همراه قطعات کمانی، مدل‌سازی شده و تحت تحلیل دینامیکی تاریخچه زمانی رکورد زلزله‎های مختلف قرار گرفتند. بر اساس نتایج به‌دست‌آمده، حداکثر جابه‌جایی بام و جابه‌جایی نسبی طبقات، در حالت قاب ساده به همراه قطعات قوسی نسبت به حالت قاب خمشی تنها، به‌طور میانگین، به ترتیب 22 و 8 درصد کاهش یافت. همچنین در قاب‌های ساده به همراه قطعات کمانی، به‌طور میانگین 46 درصد انرژی ورودی توسط این قطعات مستهلک شده که حاکی از عملکرد نسبی خوب این سیستم می‌باشد.}, keywords_fa = {سیستم باربر جانبی,قطعات زانویی کمانی,قاب خمشی,تحلیل تاریخچه زمانی,اتلاف انرژی}, url = {https://ceej.aut.ac.ir/article_4276.html}, eprint = {https://ceej.aut.ac.ir/article_4276_b25ec83b7c511396c8eff85cd32f471b.pdf} }
