In this regard, the experimental pullout results of GST reinforcement compared with theoretical equations and conventional reinforcement of Geosynthetic Strip (GS), Steel Strip (ST), and Steel Strip with Rib (STR). The experimental pullout results showed that the innovative suggested reinforcement element performed better than the other strips so that the GST strip was capable of increasing pullout resistance by more than 3, 2.5, and 1.5 times compared to the steel strip, the geosynthetic strip, and the ribbed steel strip. The results show maximum pullout resistance of GST affected by the S/B ratio and adding three horizontal transverse members can be increasing pullout resistance by more than 5.9, 4.9, and 3.2 times compared to ST, GS, and STR.  Thus, using GST reinforcement with three horizontal transverse members needs a smaller length (less than 30%) comparing to conventional strip reinforcement (ST, GS, STR). Therefore, using Geo Scrap Tire reinforcement can open a new horizon in solving the problem of scrap tires and assure geotechnical engineers in achieving superior and more economical systems of reinforced soil walls.}, keywords = {Pullout resistance,Geo Scrap Tire,Mechanically stabilized earth walls,Transverse member,Large-scale pullout tests}, title_fa = {ارزیابی عملکرد مسلح کننده ژئو اسکرپ تایر با اعضای عرضی افقی با استفاده از آزمایش بزرگ مقیاس بیرون ‌کشش}, abstract_fa = {در این مقاله با استفاده از آزمایش‌های بیرون کشش بزرگ مقیاس (0/8×0/8×1/4متر) به ارزیابی عملکرد نوارهای لاستیک فرسوده با اعضای عرضی افقی (ژئو اسکرپ تایر) به عنوان المان‌های تسلیح در دیوارهای خاک مسلح پرداخته شده‌است. در این راستا نتایج آزمایشگاهی ژئو اسکرپ تایر با مقادیر تئوری و سه مسلح کننده‌ی متداول نوار ژئوسینتتیکی، نوار فولادی و نوار فولادی آجدار مقایسه شده‌است. نتایج آزمایش‌های بیرون کشش نشان می‌دهند که مسلح کننده‌ی پیشنهادی عملکرد بهتری نسبت به سایر مسلح کننده‌های متداول داشته و مقاومت بیرون کشیدگی را نسبت به نوار فولادی، نوار ژئوسینتتیکی و نوار فولادی آجدار بیش از 3، 2/5 و 1/5 برابر افزایش می دهد. افزایش مقاومت بیرون کشیدگی با افزودن تعداد اعضای عرضی متاثر از پارامتر S/B (نسبت فاصله به عرض اعضای عرضی) بوده‌است و افزودن سه عضو عرضی مقاومت بیرون کشیدگی را نسبت به نوار فولادی، نوار ژئوسینتتیکی و نوار فولادی آجدار بیش از5/9، 4/9 و3/2 برابر افزایش داده‌است. بنابراین با استفاده از المان تسلیح ژئو اسکرپ تایر با سه عضو عرضی افقی نیاز به طول کمتری (کمتر از 30 درصد) نسبت به سایر المان‌های تسلیح نواری متداول (نوار فولادی، نوار ژئوسینتتیکی و نوار فولادی آجدار) بوده‌است. لذا با بهره گرفتن از این سیستم می‌توان افق جدیدی را در حل معضل لاستیک‌های فرسوده گشوده و مهندسین ژئوتکنیک را در دستیابی به سیستم‌های برتر و اقتصادیتر دیوارهای خاک مسلح مطمئن ساخت.}, keywords_fa = {Pullout resistance,Geo Scrap Tire,Mechanically stabilized earth walls,Transverse member,Large-scale pullout tests}, url = {https://ceej.aut.ac.ir/article_3718.html}, eprint = {https://ceej.aut.ac.ir/article_3718_39e9eecd8c7d2bad84c501b0be8c4e15.pdf} }
