The efficiency of the S/S technology can be enhanced by the use of clay nanoparticles. The S/S process incorporating montmorillonite nanoparticles can be employed to prevent the dissemination of heavy metals effectively. Although many studies have addressed the stabilization of contaminant by the use of cement, the microstructural interactions between montmorillonite nanoparticles, heavy-metal contaminants, and cement in different time intervals have been discussed rarely. In addition, there are not enough researches on the impact of montmorillonite nanoparticles in the efficiency of the solidification process. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the interactions between montmorillonite nanoparticles, heavy metals, and cement in different time intervals from the microstructural point of view and to determine the impact of clay nanoparticles on toxicity leaching from solidified/stabilized contaminants. To achieve the above-mentioned objectives, different concentrations of heavy metal (zinc) and different percentages of Portland cement were added to nano-montmorillonite. The contaminant retention mechanism was then experimentally analyzed through monitoring the changes in pH, evaluating microstructural changes (using X-Ray Diffraction), and toxicity characteristic leaching procedure (TCLP) measurement. The results indicated the role of clay nanoparticles in retaining the heavy-metal contaminant and the lack of linear relationship between the quantity of cement content of the specimen and the contaminant retention efficiency}, keywords = {Stabilization and Solidification,Heavy Metal,Nano Montmorillonite,Microstructure,XRD}, title_fa = {ارزیابی فرایند تثبیت و جامدسازی آلاینده‌ فلز سنگین روی با سیمان در حضور نانومونت-موریلونیت از منظر ریزساختاری}, abstract_fa = {تـثـبـیـت و جـامدسازی ( S/S )رسـوبـات حــاوی فـلــزات سـنـگـین، بقایای صنعتی و خاک های آلوده، تکنولوژی جذابی برای کاهش سمیت آنها است و دفع آنها را ســاده می‌سازد. کارایی تکنولوژی تثبیت و جامدسازی را می‌توان با استفاده از نانو ذرات رسی تغییر داد. فرآیند تثبیت و جامدسازی با استفاده از ذرات نانومونت موریلونیت می‌تواند بطور مؤثری برای مقابله با انتقال فلزات سنگین به کار گرفته شود. با وجود پژوهش های وسیعی که در خصوص پایدارسازی نگهداری آلاینده ها به کمک سیمان صورت گرفته است، به بررسی ریزساختاری نحوه فرآیند اندرکنش نانومونت موریلونیت - آلاینده فلز سنگین - سیمان در طی زمان و نحوه و زمان تشکیل ترکیبات سیمانی جدید و تأثیر نانو ذرات مونت موریلونیت بر میزان بازده فرآیند توجه محدودی شده است. بر این اساس، هدف این مقاله مطالعه نحوه فرآیند اندرکنش نانومونت موریلونیت - آلاینده فلز سنگین- سیمان در طی زمان از منظر ریزساختاری و تعیین تأثیر حضور نانو ذرات رسی بر میزان تراوش آلودگی در فرآیند تثبیت و جامدسازی است. برای رسیدن به اهداف ذکرشده، به نانومونت موریلونیت، غلظت‌های مختلف آلاینده فلز سنگین روی و درصدهای مختلف سیمان پرتلند افزوده شد. سپس مکانیسم نگهداری آلاینده توسط مطالعه تغییرات pH و ارزیابی تغییرات ریزساختاری (پراش پرتو ایکس   XRD )  ))و میزان تراوش و آب شویی آلودگی TCLP ))  مورد تجزیه و تحلیل آزمایشگاهی قرار گرفته است. از مهمترین نتایج این مقاله می‌توان به نقش نانو ذرات رسی در نگهداری آلاینده فلز سنگین و عدم وجود رابطه خطی میان درصد سیمان موجود در نمونه و میزان نگهداری آلاینده فلز سنگین اشاره نمود.}, keywords_fa = {Stabilization and Solidification,Heavy Metal,Nano Montmorillonite,Microstructure,XRD}, url = {https://ceej.aut.ac.ir/article_3035.html}, eprint = {https://ceej.aut.ac.ir/article_3035_02f7f0e736dd5b06962f7a739a140ca9.pdf} }
